Guide to Hope Education Scholarship

The Eure family is grateful and honored to partner with the Science and Technology Corporation to administer the Samuel L. Eure Guide to Hope Scholarship Program. It is our hope that through this program, we connect with students, in need, to support and increase racial diversity in the fields of Science and Math.

The Hope

The Samuel L. Eure Guide to Hope Scholarships are available to African American college students who are  juniors or seniors enrolled in accredited four-year

colleges or universities located in Virginia. Applicants must be U.S. citizens with a minimum of a 2.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Two scholarships of $1,000 are available for the 2016-2017 academic year. The selection committee will award two students who demonstrate a financial need and are academically strong with proven leadership qualities and active community involvement.

Applicants meeting eligibility requirements for all parts of the application package will be considered. The committee reserves the right to make no scholarship award if it deems no submission properly fulfills the program considerations.
